Reasi, Sep 03 (KNO): Security forces on Thursday recovered arms and ammunition from a hideout in the Khataji area of Mahore in Reasi district, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the recovery was made during a joint search operation launched by the Army’s 58 Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operations Group (SOG) and Jammu and Kashmir Police based on specific intelligence inputs.
He said the recovered items included a pistol, an AK-47 magazine, a hand grenade and ammunition.
The official said the ammunition comprised 140 rounds of AK-47, 19 rounds of PIKA and 25 rounds of 9mm pistol ammunition. Six cassettes were also recovered.
